Turin, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Fabio Capello guided Juventus to a 2-0 win over his former team Roma on Thursday at the Delle Alpi. Capello left Roma for Juventus amid much controversy over the summer, and sent the Roman club into a tailspin. Roma has had three coaches and has struggled on the field since Capello's departure. Meanwhile, Juventus has been brilliant, leading the Serie A and winning all three of its Champions League matches. On Thursday, Roma proved to be no match for Capello's new team in a sloppy match played through driving rain. Alessandro Del Piero scored his third goal in his last two matches and Uruguayan Marcelo Zalayeta added an insurance goal. Del Piero opened the scoring in the 31st minute on a long blast. Zalayeta, who came on for Del Piero in the 72nd minute, then scored two minutes later. With the win, Juventus pushed its league-leading point total to 22 points, five clear of second-place AC Milan. Lecce is in third place with 15 points.
