Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Gil Vicente coach Luis Campos has resigned after a nightmare start to the season. Gil Vicente is last in the Portuguese Superliga, with just three points from seven matches. Wednesday night's embarrassing Cup loss to second division side Odivelas apparently was the last straw for Campos. This was Campos' second stint with the club, having previously led the team during the 2000/01 season. Gil Vicente is expected to name a replacement shortly, possibly before they host Benfica this weekend. |
