Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Three CD Nacional players had their suspensions lifted following an internal investigation of a nightclub incident. Fabio Santos, Fernando Avalos and Josiesley Ferreira, who were arrested following an altercation at a Portuguese nightclub early Monday morning, were temporarily suspended from the club on Tuesday, pending an internal review by the club. Nacional officials were apparently forgiving after collecting the details of the incident, which involved police officers at a Madeira nightclub. Nacional was coming off a 2-1 win Sunday over Beira Mar. The trio will now be available for Nacional's UEFA Cup first-leg match against Sevilla on Thursday. |
