Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - CD Nacional suspended three players who were arrested following an altercation at a Portuguese nightclub early Monday morning. Fabio Santos, Fernando Avalos and Josiesley Ferreira will be forced to miss Nacional's UEFA Cup first-leg match against Sevilla on Thursday. The club has suspended the trio pending an internal investigation of the incident. The players were apparently arrested for fighting with several police officers. Nacional was coming off a 2-1 win Sunday over Beira Mar. |
