Turin, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero has been ruled out for around six weeks following a training ground injury at the club's Vinovo base. After falling to the ground in discomfort, the Italian star's predicament has been confirmed. A statement on the club's official website read: "During the session, Del Piero complained of a pain to the left thigh. "The captain immediately underwent an ultrasound test and a magnetic resonance imaging test which showed a first or second degree injury to the left muscle. "A rest of between 30 to 40 days is foreseen."
