Turin, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Juventus have received a major boost with the news that Diego did not suffer a serious injury during Saturday's 2-0 Serie A victory over Lazio. The Brazilian playmaker, who joined the Turin club from Werder Bremen in the summer, picked up a serious looking thigh injury. However, a series of scans have revealed no major problem and Diego could now be back in action within seven days. "The tests done on Diego have not shown any tendon or muscular lesion in his thigh," read a club statement. "He is suffering from muscular fatigue and will need seven days to recover." Diego will definitely miss Tuesday's Champions League opener against Bordeaux. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
