Rome, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Martin Caceres scored in his Juventus debut and David Trezeguet added another in stoppage time as Juventus won its third successive match to start the new Serie A campaign, beating Lazio 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico. Juve was in Rome for its last match as well, beating Roma 3-1, and they tested Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera 10 minutes into the game as Trezeguet's volley from the top of the box forced the keeper to tip the ball over the crossbar. Lazio threatened minutes later when Aleksandar Kolarov got into the box on the left and had his shot saved at the near post by goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, while Roberto Baronio curled a free kick off the post in the 31st minute. The home side continued to pressure and they had the ball in the back of the net right before the break as Stefano Mauri smashed the ball home from a few yards following a scramble in front of goal, but the play was called back for a foul before the shot. Juve was struggling to put pressure on the Lazio defense, but a right-wing cross was redirected into the path of Caceres in the 72nd minute and he drilled a half-volley past the keeper and into the lower left corner. The home side didn't really have a response to the goal, and they conceded another right before the final whistle as Amauri's shot was parried into the path of Trezeguet and he bundled it home from close range. Saturday's other contest saw AC Milan finish in a scoreless draw at Livorno as the Rossoneri's attack struggled throughout the match and they have now won just one of their first three games.
