Rome, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Juventus earned a 3-1 win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico last time out, and they will return to the capital again on Saturday to face Lazio.
Both teams enter the match having won their first two games, and Juve boss Ciro Ferrara is hoping that Lazio provides his team with another tough test.
"I hope to find the best Lazio opposing us," Ferrara told the club's official website. "We have a delicate and difficult match ahead of us against a team which will create various difficulties. We are returning to Rome immediately, but we have already forgotten about the victory we had a fortnight ago even though we want to win again and continue down the same road."
Summer-signing Diego was brilliant in Juve's 3-1 win two weeks ago, scoring two goals, but Ferrara has hinted that he may make changes to his lineup with an eye towards Tuesday's Champions League group stage match with Bordeaux.
"They all got back safe and sound - even from a psychological point of view, thanks to the many victories obtained," Ferrara said of his players who returned from international duty.
"Only (Zdenek) Grygera suffered a blow which must be evaluated. (Martin) Caceres returned today, while Felipe Melo will join us in Rome. But there are no problems with him.
"The same applies to (new signing Fabio) Grosso, who has immediately fitted in well. I think there will be some changes with regards to the last match, also because of Tuesday's Champions League match."
Along with Diego, Ferrara did well to land Grosso and Melo in the summer transfer window, and with seven matches to play in all competitions in a 21- day span, the boss knows how important it is to have quality throughout the team.
"With so many matches to be played it will be harder to recuperate the physical and mental energies and we will have to manage our strengths," Ferrara said. "We knew this and this is why we wanted to build an ample team. I will have to rely on everyone."
Lazio, meanwhile, will use the match as a measuring stick after one-goal wins over Atalanta and Chievo to start the season.
New signing Julio Cruz has proven to be a valuable addition so far with two goals in two games, and he will be counted on even more on Saturday with Mauro Zarate and Tommaso Rocchi both injury doubts.
AC Milan suffered a 4-0 loss to Inter Milan in its last match, and they will try to rebound on Saturday with a trip to Livorno, while Inter hopes to build on that result when they host Parma on Sunday.
Sampdoria has enjoyed a perfect start and they visit Atalanta, Genoa hosts Napoli in an effort to win its third straight game, Roma has lost its first two games and invades Siena, Udinese entertains Catania, Cagliari visits Fiorentina, Palermo hosts Bari and Chievo travels to Bologna.
