Milan, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Defending champions Inter Milan will be looking to erase a poor result on the opening weekend of the season as they face rivals AC Milan on Saturday.
The Nerazzurri will be hoping to pick up their first win of the campaign after stumbling to a 1-1 draw at home against promoted side Bari in the opener.
Samuel Eto'o was able to score in his debut from the penalty spot, but Inter missed chances to put Bari away, and they were punished by Vitaly Kutuzov 15 minutes from time and they had to settle for a point.
AC Milan's season got off to a more positive start with a 2-1 win at Siena as Pato bagged a pair of goals, and the young Brazilian could be joined up top by summer-signing Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who missed the opening match through suspension.
Huntelaar signed with Milan after an unsuccessful spell at Real Madrid, and he couldn't have asked for a better way to make his debut.
"I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful game for my debut," the striker said. "It's a derby, a very hard game and it will be great to play this game for the first time.
"Inter drew their opening game but they are a good squad. We faced them in Pescara (in preseason) and they are strong. We hope to win and play a great match."
A win over Inter would send out quite a warning shot this early in the season, but Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar is confident his side will be in good form at the San Siro on Saturday.
"Aside from the draw in the home match against Bari, I think the team is working well," he said. "We can play a good match, but the two matches we played against Milan in the summer (90 minutes in the USA and 45 in the Tim Trophy) are not an example I think, because it will certainly be a completely different match on Saturday. It will be hard, but we want to get back to winning ways immediately in the league."
This will be the earliest ever point in the season for the Milan derby, but Inter could use this opportunity to restore order in Serie A with a win, while Milan is trying to serve notice that they are prepared to mount a serious title challenge.
On Sunday, two of Italy's other top sides meet up at the Stadio Olimpico as Roma hosts Juventus.
Juve will see the return of captain Alessandro Del Piero after he sat out the team's 1-0 win over Chievo last weekend with a muscle injury, while Roma hopes to bounce back from a 3-2 defeat at Genoa.
Fiorentina was held to a 1-1 draw by Bologna in its opener and they will be aiming to grab a win against Palermo, Genoa visits Atalanta, Bologna travels to Bari and Lazio goes for a second consecutive win at Chievo.
Sampdoria got off to a positive start after winning 2-1 at Catania, and they will host an Udinese side that earned a point from its first match, Siena invades Cagliari, Parma entertains Catania and Livorno tries to cope with the loss of striker Alessandro Diamanti, who was sold to West Ham this week, as they visit Napoli.
