Milan, Italy (My Sportsbook) - AC Milan has brought veteran goalkeeper Flavio Roma back to Serie A, while they have parted company with Australian Zeljko Kalac. Thirty-five-year-old Roma has spent the last eight years playing in France, but has opted to return home to link up with the Rossoneri on a one-year contract. Meanwhile, Kalac, 36, leaves the San Siro after four years, having rarely been a first choice during his time at Milan. A statement on the club's official website confirmed: "AC Milan announce they have terminated Kalac's contract by mutual consent. "We thank him for all he has done in his experience with the Rossoneri and wish Kalac the best for the future. "AC Milan would also like to announce that it has acquired the full rights to Flavio Roma from Monaco, who has signed a contract until June 30 2010." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
