Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Portugal midfielder Maniche has welcomed reports of a return to former club FC Porto after confirming he will leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season. The 31-year-old was part of the Porto side which won the Champions League in 2004 and has suggested he would be interested in a return to the Estadio do Dragao when his Madrid contract expires in the summer. Maniche has spent time at Chelsea, Dynamo Moscow and Internazionale since leaving Portugal in 2005. "I have a good chance of returning to wear the shirt of a big club. I am a free player and for this my agent and I will decide on my future," he said. "Porto? Everyone knows that I have great affection and gratitude towards this club.
