Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - The chips continue to shuffle. After winning the Champions League competition this past season, FC Porto has already seen its roster turned over significantly. Now, on the same day that Portuguese international midfielder Deco left the club for Barcelona, former Barca player Ricardo Quaresma signed a five-year deal with Porto. There have been rumors that the two moves were related, but both clubs have kept quiet on the issue. Quaresma is a former Sporting player who signed a four-year deal with Barcelona last summer. The 20-year-old winger now comes back to Portugal after just one year, this time with the two-time reigning Portuguese league champions. "After Deco moved to Barcelona, I was informed that Ricardo Quaresma had changed his mind about the possibility of returning to Portugal," Porto chairman Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa said. Since then, we thought that he would be a good player for us. Quaresma fits perfectly into Luigi del Neri's plans following Deco's departure." Del Neri is taking over for the recently departed Jose Mourinho, who took over at Chelsea several months back.
