Manchester, England (My Sportsbook) - Cristiano Ronaldo scored in stoppage time as Manchester United rallied for a 2-1 win over Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday to remain perfect and clinch Group F.

Manchester United (5-0-0) already had a spot in the knockout stage clinched but Ronaldo's fifth goal of the group stage took all the meaning out of the last group match against Roma.

Roma also clinched a spot in the knockout stage Tuesday with a 4-1 win over Dynamo Kiev.

Sporting Lisbon (1-3-1) needed a victory - and for Roma not to win - to have any chance of advancing.

Just 22 minutes into Tuesday's match, the Portuguese club stunned Manchester United with an unlikely goal.

Sporting's Abel had the ball just a few yards from the right sideline when he attempted a low-percentage shot that swerved around the near post and into the net.

Manchester United goalie Tomasz Kuszczak was fooled by the shot, which he was unable to get to despite a diving attempt.

The surprising goal nearly cost Manchester United even more because just five minutes later Sporting's Liedson beat Kuszczak but was called for being just a whisker offside.

Manchester United survived the sluggish first half, and Ryan Giggs and Carlos Tevez came on after the break to provide a spark.

Tevez scored Manchester United's first goal, redirecting a Ronaldo shot into the right side in the 61st. Patrice Evra helped set up the goal by winning a ball on the left side and passing to Ronaldo near the top of the box.

Ronaldo's shot, which he didn't hit well, was going wide when Tevez directed it into the net.

Both sides had chances over the next 30 minutes, but it wasn't until more than two minutes into stoppage time Ronaldo delivered the game-winner.

He slotted a free kick from about 30 yards into the right side of the goal to the delight of the fans at Old Trafford. Ronaldo's five goals ties him for the lead in the group stage with Inter Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Roma (3-1-1) easily beat winless Dynamo Kiev, with Mirko Vucinic scoring two goals and Christian Panucci and Ludovic Giuly each contributing one.

Dynamo Kiev (0-5-0) got its lone goal from Ismael Bangoura in the 63rd. Kiev is the only team in the competition yet to earn a single point.
